4Good, honest sound; fair construction.  May 16, 2011 By Charles Koontz
Pros: Even, clear sound.
Inexpensive.

Cons: They feel a bit cheap in construction.
A little uncomfortable.

I bought these on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I have been looking for folding headphones that can go in my bag when I'm away from home. These were at my local music store and I got them for under $15.

The sound is fairly even, not artificially bassy and not annoyingly bright. They don't have the rich mids that my larger headphones have, but they're certainly not hollow-sounding. The sound is clear, there is a decent amount of detail and these phones cross well between different types of music. They are efficient for such even-sounding headphones; I never feel the need to turn my volume above 1/2 on my iPod Touch. My larger phones usually need to be 3/4 or above.

The construction feels a bit cheap, but I don't worry they're going to fall apart. The plastic from which they're made is a bit stiff and light. I haven't yet found exactly the best way to wear them, but I have a big head and I wear glasses with very hard earpieces.
