Good value for money! Jun 15, 2010 I ordered this product more than a year ago and only got down to reviewing it today. When it first arrived it came with all the required components and I couldn't wait to use it. Although it has a slight "plasticky" feeling to it and might not seem to last, I am happy to report that it has lasted me a year so far with constant use. Although I'm not a professional club DJ, I have been using this product almost every week for hours at a time mixing music and it hasn't failed me yet. I highly recommend this for people who want something to bring to parties for more fun because it's easier to carry than a full set of turntables + mixer + records combo.

If it worked it would be great May 23, 2010 It worked great for about a month then the master output bass failed, the button mapping became buggy (requiring a reinstall of the software) and the booth volume knob fell off. Perhaps I got a lemon...
All-In-One Digital DJ System Apr 21, 2010 It has everything you need to start DJ'ing. It's easy, fast, and sounds great.
The on-the-fly effects are awesome, and beatmatching is simplified using visuals
and auto-beatkeeper, which is used by the press of a button.

Awesome! Jan 09, 2010 Awesome unit, great, rock solid software. It is a bit fragile though. I stepped on my headphone cable and broke the headphone jack internally on my very first gig. Luckily the waveform display is so great, I was able to mix without headphones. I have since replaced the jack with a short pigtail cable connected to an in-line jack. Now, if I trip over the cable, it just unplugs.

More Than I Was Expecting Oct 17, 2009 The more I use the Xponent/Torq setup, the more I love it. Its very responsive, laid out well and is probably one of the best alternatives for those not wanting to get into CDJs. It feels more natural than laptop DJ control surface setups if you are a DJ coming from CD player or even vinyl decks. Its easy to setup, customize and organize your playlists - It even reads iTunes playlists. The built in effects are good utility effects but you also have the ability to run any VST plugin effexts you may have.
There are a couple things that I was a bit disappointed about but are not deal breakers. There is no ability to do 88.2khz audio output as of yet. Also while I like that the crossfader is silky smooth, the pitch and volume faders are also light and smooth. This means its very easy to bump them and maybe knock a track out of sync or accidentally slam or drop the volume of a track. With a little bit of time and familiarity though you learn to dance a bit more carefully around these controls.
All in all a great dj setup that is able to compete for a relatively low price.
