Midiman Midisport... Feb 26, 2010 I got this interface mainly to use with my Sonuus and Alesis drum module. I didn't want to invest in a real expensive Midi interface and i'm glad i didn't. This cheap interface works very well for the price. I recommend.

Even works with Ubuntu Linux. Mar 20, 2009 I bought this product to connect to a set of electronic drums. It worked out of the box with out any issues. The case looks cool.

Midi for All Mar 26, 2008 Works as stated. No problems when attaching different midi devices. Worked well with all my different software.

Okay, but... Jan 11, 2007 This hardware does its job adequately - my computer and keyboard are talking to each other. However, it is an extra hassle to deal with the "software you are installing has not passed Windows logo testing" messages. Also, several times after unplugging the midisport from the computer, I've had to reinstall it the next time I wanted to use it rather than simply plug it back in - also a hassle. (The last few times I unplugged I did not have to reinstall, however.)
I was looking for a budget MIDI interface, and this serves the purpose at a reasonable price if a person is willing to deal with a few hassles along the way.
