Bad Cubase support May 07, 2010
Great keyboard except-- Hypercontrol does not work with 64 bit Cubase. Since Hypercontrol is a major feature of the unit and the biggest reason for its increased cost over other units, I expected it to work. Kind of shocking reading M-Audio forum posts going back YEARS with users complaining about the lack of 64 bit support, buggy drivers etc. Even MORE shocking to read responses from M-Audio reps-- it worked for them so why do YOU have a problem?; cannot commit to driver fixes etc. A major dissapointment. I consider spending several hundred dollars an investment, in part, in the company behind the product. Based on M-Audio's responses to customer problems I decided that this was not a company I want to spend my hard-earned money at. Thank you, Amazon, for making returns so easy. I will purchase another keyboard and other equipment but it won't be from M-Audio.
