| | Description | The M-Audio Axiom Pro 25 keyboard controller builds on the acclaimed Axiom 25, delivering premium TruTouch action, proprietary HyperControl MIDI mapping technology and other cutting-edge enhancements in a compact model perfect for tight spaces. HyperControl automatically maps the keyboard's 28 controls to commonly accessed parameters in digital audio workstations including Pro Tools, Cubase, Logic and Reason, as well as software instruments. The constant two-way link with your host DAW means the keyboard s controls are always in sync with your software s active parameters. The intuitive graphic LCD constantly updates the current values, which ensures seamless editing and prevents parameter jumps even when plug-ins are closed. Toggle instantly between Mixer and Instrument control modes. Map buttons to send QWERTY key commands right from the Axiom Pro 25. Save settings to 50 memory locations each with four profiles of quick recall via the intuitive graphic LCD. Now you can control your entire session right from your Axiom Pro 25. | |

Product Faulty, Service Horrible Aug 05, 2011
By Kristopher Madaus The keyboard seemed great for the first couple of months. But then, one day in the middle of a drum recording session, one of the pads stopped working. It was completely unresponsive. Since the keyboard was within warranty, I tried to contact M-Audio for a repair. I was led in circles on their non-intuitive website looking for contact information. Finally, I posted on their forum. The tech that responded said I could simply submit a claim to get a RA number. But the link he gave me was another loop. After some time, I finally had a repair request submitted. But M-Audio/Avid requires a service request number that is only obtained by registering the product. Otherwise, no support for you! So I searched through my receipts, registered my product, had to wait another day or so, re-emailed for repair. The response was vague an unhelpful. I wasn't even sure what info they needed. I emailed back to ask, waited another three days, didn't receive a clear answer, re-emailed, etc. The whole process took about three weeks. Finally I received a RA#, but I had to pay for my own shipping to the east coast even though my product was defective. I spent the $20 to ship, ad didn't hear from M-Audio for over a week. Finally, my response comes: "Thanks for your return. We'll get back to you in 4-6 weeks." So much wasted time. A product should include customer service if within warranty. I will never buy another M-Audio product again. Their prices are good, but now we see why. Faulty product + poor customer service = waste of money.

Major Hardware Failure. Should have Been Recalled Apr 17, 2011
By Jorge Sonnenschein
"Jorge Sonnenschein"
I suffered, like many other people of a "Blue LCD Screen of Death" (in this case "permanent Death"), which i found out has happened to MANY other Axiom Pro Units. I think there should be an innmediate recall, It's irresponsible for the company to keep hiding this major problem.
In my case I bought the axiom pro here at Amazon, but i don't live in the states so i have to start a very Annoying process of guaranty return overseas :

Nice Name, but not as good as others May 26, 2010
By YOYO First of all, let me say that as far as look, and overall feel/construction, this thing is top-notch. The keys feel good, the sliders, the knobs, the bottons-all solid. Point here is the upcharge for the HyperControl. It's really a very poor attempt to do what Novation did with their AutoMap feature, with a little bit better in the way of being able to easily customize the control, but they are not preset very well. If you're thinking about this, you may just want to go with the Axiom25 or move up to the 49. Until M-Audio gets on board with making this easier to use, may as well keep shopping.
Works great. Simple. Easy to use. Works with Logic Jun 29, 2011
By Adam DeGraff I hate products that don't work and companies that don't support their products with good customer service. And I'm starting to take the time to write about my experiences with gear. I'm a tough critic. I'm happy to say that my Axiom Pro 25 is awesome. It works great, every time. Logic loves it. I love it. I have no idea how good of customer service M-Audio offers, because this unit has always worked flawlessly.
But one. You'll be happy you did.
A new dimension of keyboard Aug 25, 2010
By Mescalon The first surprise is its weight and texture. Clearly heavier than the Oxygen 8 V2 and true feeling keys.
The setup is very simple and within seconds is working.
Read all Pro Tools' commands also the plugins.
Excellent!
