| | Description | The E-MU PIPEline wireless transmitter/receiver system from E-MU Systems frees you from the tyranny of audio cables without sacrificing audio quality. The PIPEline can be used as a wireless transceiver for your guitar or keyboard, or as the basis of a wireless In-Ear monitoring system for your band. Because latency is so critical in music performance, PIPEline has a minimal delay of only 5.5ms so it won't interfere with the feel of you music. With PIPEline connected to your instrument, you'll be able to move freely in a 15 meter range from the receiver. If your other band mates want to join the wireless revolution, they can, because PIPEline has three independent stereo channels. Each instrument stays completely independent with zero crosstalk.Have you always wanted an In-Ear monitoring system, but couldn't justify the high price? PIPEline is the perfect solution for low-cost In-Ear monitoring. Because PIPEline has three channels, you can have three separate stereo monitor mixes, or one transmitter can send a group mix to multiple receivers.PIPEline's Audio quality is superb with no-compression and a 48kHz sample rate (better than CD). Encryption key handshaking between transmitter and receiver eliminates the possibility of picking up other wireless sources.Because PIPEline works with ANY audio device, you can wirelessly connect any of your other audio gear. For example, you could connect your iPod/Mp3 player (or computer) to your stereo system, or put remote speakers in another room of your house WITHOUT the hassle of routing speaker wires. | |

Incredible Sounds, Works Flawlessly Dec 07, 2011
By Hirum Horkweller These little devices are incredible. I live in Los Angeles and my analog speaker wires pick up Mexican radio loud and clear. I've tried everything to ground the wires but to no avail. Anyway, these things have solved my problem. Now I have crystal clear audio throughout my house and no wires. They are slick, reliable little devices.
Very Versatile Device Jul 07, 2011
By S. Chow These things are great! I primarily use them as a in ear monitor system for our band at church. We run them right out of the mixer with different mixes for everyone. The only slight issue is the volume isn't good enough straight from the device, but a cheap amp that attaches to your headphones (like the Fiio E3 Headphone Amp) will fix that problem in no time. The only limitation is that you can only have 3 separate mixes max because that the amount of channels there are for the Pipeline.
I have also used these to send music/sound from a laptop to a live mixer with no problems or distortion. There was no lag or interference.
I am tempted to try to use this for my guitar rig in the future. These little things will come in handy for any sound related problems you might have and for the price, they are great. I mean, an in ear monitoring system for $200? Can't go wrong even if that is all you use them for.
Great Product Apr 25, 2011
By Danny Vee The PIPELine works as advertised... very easy to setup, I am using it in a band situation as a IEM, and so far it's been great... very simple to use.
Great Product But if your using it for vocal monitors on stage.... Dec 22, 2010
By Stopwatch Great Product But if your using it for vocal monitors on stage you might want to look into a volume booster, I purchased this unit by itself and it just didnt have enough balls to deliver during onstage performances. I bought a boostaroo 400% volume enhancer from boostaroo and I tell ya it really does the job. So for about $150 plus $100 for the transmitter and you have your very own in the ear monitor that works as well as any expensive in ear set up. Totally awesome, and you can use them for other applications as well...
