I bought this product to connect to a set of electronic drums. It worked out of the box with out any issues. The case looks cool.

I got this interface mainly to use with my Sonuus and Alesis drum module. I didn't want to invest in a real expensive Midi interface and i'm glad i didn't. This cheap interface works very well for the price. I recommend.

Worked perfectly and as expected. Just connected my MIDI keyboard to the MidiSport MIDI Interface with a MIDI cable I had, connected the MIDI Interface to a USB port on my computer, installed the drivers, and the computer recognized that there was a MIDI interface attached. Starting my music authoring software now showed USB MIDI as valid inputs and outputs for the software, and pressing keys registered as notes in the software. I anticipated some initial complications getting everything to work together, but there weren't any. It all worked together right off the bat.

As I would expect, I never needed to take the CD out of the box, it worked with the default drivers with no problems.
